General Terms and Instructions
.The written examination will be administered by M/s OTS, while the interview phase will be conducted by WAPDA.
.The initial appointment will be subject to a one-year probationary period.
.A general age relaxation of five years has already been factored into the age limit. Candidates from Scheduled Castes, the Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir are eligible for an additional three years of age relaxation.
.Government/WAPDA employees who have completed two years of continuous service as of the application deadline will be granted a ten-year age relaxation, up to the age of 55 years.
.Age will be calculated as of 14th July 2023.
.Candidates currently employed by WAPDA must submit their applications through WAPDA HR Division and include the necessary NOC/permission. In the case of non-regular WAPDA employees, the age limit is extended to 40 years.
.Government employees are required to apply through the appropriate channels and provide the requisite NOC/permission.
.Educational certificates/degrees must be verified by HEC Recognized Universities/Concerned Boards/Institutes.
.During the interview, candidates must present their original documents.
.Candidates who have been dismissed or barred from future employment on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply. WAPDA reserves the right to suspend or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
.No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided to candidates for tests/interviews.
.Applications containing incomplete/incorrect information or received after the application deadline will be rejected.
.Any falsified information discovered at any point during the recruitment process or subsequent employment will result in termination.
Note
The recruitment process for vacant Officer positions (BPS-17 & 18) advertised by WAPDA on 25th June 2023 in national newspapers (Jang & Dawn) under PID(L)3705 will be deemed canceled.
How to Apply
.Applicants should visit the M/S OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) for registration and application submission within 15 days of the advertisement's publication.
.Candidates are required to pay a test fee of Rs. 200/- to OTS. This fee should be remitted at any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL using the prescribed Bank Challan form, which can be downloaded from the website: www.ots.org.pk.
.Applicants must specify the post and office for which they are applying.
.Candidates should send the completed prescribed application form, along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, relevant documents/experience certificates, two recent passport-sized photographs, and the original fee Challan via courier service/Pakistan Post, etc., to: Manager Operations (WAPDA) Open Testing Service, Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
.OTS will notify candidates via text message regarding roll numbers, test centers, test dates, and timing.
.Applications submitted in person or after the due date will not be considered.
.After applying for the desired position(s), applicants are encouraged to regularly check the Testing Agency's website (www.ots.org.pk) for important updates, including information related to roll number slips, written test schedules, results, and other relevant announcements.
