Company Description


The Higher Education Commission (HEC) was established by the Government of Pakistan to develop indigenous universities and promote higher education, research, and development. The Commission aims to spearhead the building of a knowledge-based economy in Pakistan and has a broad mandate to evaluate, improve, and promote the higher education and research sector. The HEC has implemented a comprehensive strategy focused on faculty development, improving access, excellence in learning and research, and relevance to national priorities.





Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Higher Education Commission professional located in Islamabad. The HEC professional will be responsible for daily tasks related to communication, education, customer service, research, and career counseling.





Qualifications


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in higher education, research, or related field
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and engagement
  • Experience in conducting and contributing to research projects
  • Ability to provide career counseling and support to students and faculty
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, social sciences, business, or related field
  • Experience working with a government agency is a plus
