National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is the lead agency at the Federal level to deal with all spectrum of disaster management activities. It is the executive arm of the National Disaster Management Commission (NDMC), set up under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. In the event of a disaster, all stakeholders including Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations, Armed Forces, INGOs, NGOs, and UN Agencies work through NDMA to conduct a "One Window Operation". And they are a part of it. The organization aims to develop sustainable operational capacity and professional competence to undertake various tasks.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Government Jobs in NDMA located in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with government officials, managing communications initiatives, conducting analytical research, working with local government officials, and liaising with public sector entities.
Qualifications
- Government Relations and Communication skills
- Analytical Skills and Local Government experience
- Experience in working with public sector entities
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Communications, or related field
- Experience working with disaster management authorities or organizations is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Fluency in English and Urdu
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
