Company Description
Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is a registered company that operates under the PSW Act, 2021 and has been designated as the operating entity for the PSW system. The PSW system is a reform initiative committed to develop and launch Pakistan's National Single Window (NSW) by 2022. This initiative aims to reduce the time and cost of doing business in Pakistan for trade-related processes in a more efficient, transparent, and consistent manner. The PSW is a collaborative effort among multiple public and private sector stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, traders, freight forwarders, banks, terminal operators, and transporters, among others.
Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is located in Islamabad and requires a highly skilled professional in the area of trade facilitation and single window implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing trade processes and requirements, preparing business requirements documents, reviewing system specifications and design documents, and testing single window systems and related functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in single window implementation or trade facilitation projects.
- A strong understanding of trade-related government-to-government (G2G) and business-to-government (B2G) interactions and processes.
- Experience in analyzing trade business processes and requirements.
- Experience in preparing business requirements documents, reviewing system specifications and design documents, and testing single window systems and related functionalities.
- Experience in project management, including developing project plans and schedules, monitoring progress, and reporting status updates to stakeholders.
- A good understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and technologies used in single window systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with multiple stakeholders including regulatory authorities, traders, freight forwarders, banks, terminal operators, and transporters, among others.
